To Our Valued Clients,

Please be aware that we are implementing increased measures to keep our staff and clients safe during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective Saturday, March 21, 2020, South Surrey Veterinary Hospital will be operating under a “curbside” protocol. We are asking that no clients come into our reception area.  Instead please call us when you arrive in our parking lot. If you do not have a cell phone then please come and knock on our door and we will acknowledge you.

One of our team will come to your car, take a history and note any concerns with your pet. We will then take your pet into the hospital for the Doctor to examine and they will then call or come out to discuss any treatment that may be needed. Please have your dogs on a leash and cats in carriers.

We will continue to book appointments for surgeries, routine and urgent matters, as well as honor appointments already scheduled.

Surgery admitting will be carried out in the same way, with the technician coming to you outside with the admitting treatment plan, clarifying what needs to be done and having you sign the admitting paperwork.

To pick up your pets please call ahead to arrange payment by telephone or we will bring the PIN machine to the parking lot for you to pay. DO NOT come inside the building please.

To pick up food or medication; again please call ahead to order so we can have it ready for you. We would appreciate it if you pay via credit card over the phone (we will not keep the numbers on file) as this will again lessen any contact and honour social distancing. Let us know when you arrive by a phone call or coming to the door and we will bring the food outside to you.

Thank you very much for your compliance,

Dr. Kortschak and Staff of South Surrey Veterinary Hospital
